Advisor 1 - YBhg PROF. DATO’ DR. MOHD MANSOR SALLEH (DSDK, JSM, FIMM)
- Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohd Mansor Haji Salleh, 64, is a Metallurgist and Corrosion engineer by Profession.
- He is presently employed on contract basis as Professor in Universiti Kuala Lumpur.
- He has also been appointed as Dean and Head of Campus in the UniKL MIMET (UniKL Malaysian
Institute of Marine Engineering Technology) since February 2009. - UniKL MIMET is a branch campus of Universiti Kuala Lumpur providing education in, amongst others, Marine Engineering, Ship Design and Construction, Naval Architecture and Marine Electronics at the
Degree and Diploma levels. - Mohd Mansor Salleh graduated in Metallurgy (B.Sc Hons) in 1969 from Univ. College Cardiff and obtained an MSc in Metallurgy and Management in 1970 from Birmingham University (UK).
- In 1979 he obtained a PhD in Corrosion from the University of Manchester (UK) after a 3-year study.
- Dr Mansor began his career as a lecturer in Faculty of Engineering, Univ. of Malaya in 1971, ending up as Associate Professor in 1980.
- He was seconded to SIRIM as head (then called Controller) for 2 years (1984-1986) and then seconded to head the Institut Teknologi MARA (as CEO with title of Director) from 1986-1993.
- Dr. Mansor left government service to work for the DRB-Hicom Group Bhd. as the CEO of one of their
PROGRESSIVE MASTERY Training & Consultancy (001880660 – V) subsidiaries, Hicom Diecastings Sdn Bhd for 4 years (1997-2001) and Aluminium Alloy Castings Sdn Bhd for 2 years (2002-2003). - In 2004 till now, Dr. Mansor is back in educational field when he was appointed Professor in Universiti Kuala Lumpur and headed the UniKL-Malaysia France Institute (UniKL-MFI) for two years.
- He lectured at UniKL-IPROM on Materials Engineering, Technopreneurship and Manufacturing Technology (including for a group of students bound for Univ. of Sheffield, UK).
- Besides lecturing, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mansor is also involved with professional bodies.
- He was the founding President for Malaysian Materials Science & Technology Society (1987) (now known as Institute of Materials Malaysia).
- He is also the President of the Malaysian Welding and Joining Society since 2006.
- He is the Advisor to Persatuan Orang Cacat Pendengaran Selangor (POCPS) since 2000 and Advisor to the Persatuan Penterjemah Malaysia (PPM) since 2004.
- Prior to that he was the President of PPM for 15 years.
Despite his busy schedule, Dr. Mansor still has time for sports:walking, swimming and golf; and reading all types of non-fiction books.
Advisor II - YBhg DATIN PADUKA JUMA’AH BT. MOKTAR (DSSA, ASA, PJK)
- YBhg. Datin Paduka Juma’ah binti Moktar graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons)from University of London UK in 1981.
- She obtained her Master in Business Administration (with Distinction) from the International Management Centre, Buckingham, UK in 1989.
- She has attended the “Applied International Management Programme” at the Institute of Foretagledning, Sigtuna in Sweden in 1992.
- She has vast experience in company administration and business management.
- She began her career as Credit Officer in 1975 with
Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (KPS) and was subsequently appointed as Company Secretary and Group Legal Adviser to the KPS from 1981 to 1996. - Datin Paduka Juma’ah was Chief Operating Officer
of Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad from June 1996 to February 1997. - On 1st March 1997, she was appointed the Vice President of Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Berhad (KDEB) and also the Executive Director of Brisdale Holdings Berhad respectively.
- She was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of KPS in July 1997 and as a Director on 15 August 1997.
- In April 2003 the post was redesignated as Managing Director, a position she held until August 2007.
- Datin Paduka Juma’ah was also PROGRESSIVE MASTERY Training & Consultancy ( 001880660 – V )
appointed a Board Member of KDEB on 15 August 1997 and has since retired as Deputy President of KDEB. - Datin Paduka Juma’ah also sits on the Board of North Port Marketing Bhd and Nippon Paint (M) Sdn. Bhd.
- Presently, Datin Paduka Juma’ah hold a post as CEO Jobmarket Malaysia Sdn. Bhd, a member of the BASIS Group of Companies.
- Jobmarket embarked on a series of nationwide tripartite collaborations on internship – cum training.
